We handle divorce, custody, protective orders, modifications of custody, alimony emergency protective orders.
Criminal Law – Our firm has extensive practice in defending against the State of Maryland for all charges. We have prevailed in capital cases such as First degree murder all the way down to Trespassing and everything in between.
Mission statements – To be available, straight forward and professional with anyone who walks through our front door. To be nice with opposing counsel until it is time to take the gloves off.
Consultations – Most consultations are free, for the first thirty minutes. Please call ahead to confirm this.
Jail consultations - Fee is $250.00 for a jail visit to Howard, Carroll or Frederick County prior to representation.

Mr. Williamson has extensive background in fighting. When he is not in court he is either teaching Martial Arts or on his yoga mat. Matt brings twenty years of service industry experience to his practice. His ability to connect with judges and juries make him a go to trial attorney.
In 1995, Chris took his GI Bill and went to UMBC to finish his undergraduate degree, where he majored in Political Science and rowed crew in a Varsity Mens’ four with people he still considers his best friends. He then made his way to the University of Maryland School of Law, going to law school during the day and working full-time at night. Despite his full schedule, Chris graduated law school with Honors after only two-and-a-half years.
After graduation, Chris joined the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, where he worked in the Juvenile Division and the Sex Offense Unit and trained new prosecutors in the District Court’s DUI/DWI and Incarcerable Traffic Division. In 2006, Chris left the State’s Attorney’s Office for private practice, and has spent the last 18 years assisting clients with their legal needs.
Chris’s practice focuses primarily on criminal defense and personal injury. He is dedicated to giving his clients the personal attention they deserve and the assistance they need to navigate the legal system.
Connie is a highly skilled, dedicated paralegal with over 20 years of experience in the legal field. With a robust background in Personal Injury, Litigation, Worker’s Compensation, Criminal, and landlord Tenant Law, Connie has been instrumental in streamlining our firm’s paralegal actions.
Caitlyn has been a paralegal since 2018. Having worked in a firm in immigration law and providing legal translation services. She switched gears to criminal law in July of 2022. Caitlyn is a Maryland resident with a Peruvian-American background, having been raised bilingually. Educated primarily in Maryland, she did attend 1 year abroad in a high school in Lima, Peru.
